How This Calculator Works
This tool estimates auxiliary engine fuel usage, cost, and CO₂ emissions for Nautor’s Swan sailing yachts. Although Swan yachts are primarily wind-powered, their engines are used for docking, maneuvering, and low-wind travel.
Fuel Calculation Formula:
Fuel Used = Distance × Consumption Rate (liters per nautical mile)
CO₂ Emissions = Fuel Used × Emission Factor
