How This Calculator Works
This tool estimates fuel consumption, cost, and CO₂ emissions for select Scout Boats based on your distance in nautical miles and fuel type. Scout Boats are powered by advanced outboard gasoline engines, often compatible with ethanol blends.
Fuel Calculation Formula:
Fuel Used = Distance × Consumption Rate (liters per nautical mile)
CO₂ Emissions = Fuel Used × Emission Factor
Emission Factors:
- Gasoline: 2.31 kg CO₂/liter
- Ethanol Blend: 1.92 kg CO₂/liter
