How This Calculator Works
This tool estimates fuel consumption, cost, and CO₂ emissions for select J Boats based on your input distance and fuel type. J Boats are known for high-performance sailing with efficient auxiliary engines.
Fuel Calculation Formula:
Fuel Used = Distance × Consumption Rate (liters per nautical mile)
CO₂ Emissions = Fuel Used × Emission Factor
Emission Factors:
- Diesel: 2.68 kg CO₂/liter
- Bio-Diesel: 2.50 kg CO₂/liter
