How This Calculator Works
This calculator estimates the fuel consumption, cost, and carbon dioxide emissions of Sunseeker yachts based on distance travelled and fuel type. The tool uses average consumption rates per nautical mile for popular Sunseeker models.
Fuel Calculation Formula:
Fuel Used = Distance × Consumption Rate (liters per nm)
CO₂ Emissions = Fuel Used × Emission Factor
Emission Factors:
- Diesel: 2.68 kg CO₂/liter
- Biodiesel: 2.50 kg CO₂/liter
