How This Calculator Works
This calculator estimates the fuel usage, cost, and CO₂ emissions for various Deutz-Fahr tractor models based on trip distance and diesel efficiency. Simply select a model, enter the distance, and optionally the fuel price to get your results.
Fuel Consumption Formula:
Fuel Used (liters) = Distance (km) ÷ Fuel Efficiency (km/l)
CO₂ Emissions (kg) = Fuel Used × 2.68 (based on standard diesel combustion)
About Deutz-Fahr Tractors
Deutz-Fahr tractors are known for their German engineering, power, and fuel-efficient performance. The models range from compact utility tractors like the Agrolux 75 to high-performance machines like the 7250 TTV with continuously variable transmissions.
- Agrolux Series: Designed for small farms and lighter tasks, with excellent fuel efficiency.
- 6000 & 7000 Series: Mid to high horsepower for a variety of tillage and transport tasks.
- TTV Models: Use advanced transmission and engine management for precision and performance.
Tips to Improve Tractor Fuel Economy:
- Choose the right gear and throttle setting to match the task.
- Minimize idle time—turn off the engine when not in use.
- Maintain tire pressure and use ballast properly.
- Keep up with regular maintenance and servicing.
- Use GPS and auto-steer systems to reduce overlaps in the field.
